The Royal Navy Field Gun Competition was an integral part of the Tournament from 1907 until 1999. It is estimated that15,000 men from the Royal Navy competed in the Field Gun Competitions at Olympia and Earls Court. The traditions of the Field Gun Competition are kept alive by the Field Gun Associations; Devonport, Portsmouth & Fleet Air Arm. In addition, many Cadet units around the UK also keep the traditions alive through Sea Cadet Field Gun Competitions.
